Mäpt Sávota-pirt (/graˈgrurp/ /pirt/ [complex] [pirate]) is a temperate Town located in the Xläghkulk Principality of the Koiapian City-state.

The name Mäpt Sávota-pirt is derived from the Gnollish language, as Mäpt Sávota-pirt was founded by Dylan vyim Tæ̝lnyi, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Mäpt Sávota-pirt has a yearly average temperature of 1°C (33°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 13°C (55°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold -10°C (14°F). Overview

Mäpt Sávota-pirt was founded durring the late 17th century in late spring of the year 1656, by Dylan vyim Tæ̝lnyi. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Mäpt Sávota-pirt was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt Sávota-pirt is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Mäpt Sávota-pirt is is constructed arround a series of spacious split-log ties mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The peasent-grade have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Mäpt Sávota-pirt has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Mäpt Sávota-pirt long.

Cultural Notes

While Mäpt Sávota-pirt has a public leader, the real authority is hidden from outsiders. This ruler may draw their authority from rationales unacceptable to outsiders, they may have cowed the public authority into obedience, or they may have a mutually beneficial private arrangement with the official ruler.

Mäpt Sávota-pirt's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

In Mäpt Sávota-pirt rain occurs in reverse with water pooling up from the earth then falling into the skies to from clouds, this unsettles every visitor that sees it.
